I cannot count the times we've stayed here on our way up and back to CO. There have been ups and downs. This time was a huge improvement! The rooms looked like they had been thorougly cleaned, meaning carpet was fresh. On a Friday night, the usually hysterical buffet was pleasantly uncrowded. The bartender even brought our wine to our table. We ended up making a meal of it and slept comfortably.

We're military, so we travel a lot & have made several cross-country trips. We picked Drury because we found ourselves in Amarillo after pushing south to stay away from "Winter Storm Q." We got in late- nearly 11:30. The lady at the front desk was so nice, bubbly & friendly. We got a great military discount. Pets were free! When we got to the room, my son promptly clogged the toilet (traveling is rough on a teenaged stomach lol). The lady at the front desk took about 5 minutes to find a plunger, couldn't, so met us upstairs to help us move to a new room. We moved 2 doors down...super easy & quick. Not only that- but she also knocked another $10 off the room rate. The night was great- comfortable bed, perfect room temp & a quiet hotel. The bathroom was as clean as I'd have at my own house- very nice. Breakfast was great, my daughter loved the Texas-shaped waffles. We got back to the room, packed up, then realized we'd lost our cat somewhere in the room. I called & asked for more time (past the check-out time) to search & they said no problem. After I called Guest Services to ask if anyone had seen a cat, Krystal from the front desk came up to help us search. She helped us look for 4 hours, going through empty rooms & going up & down the stairs & looking on every floor. She tore our room apart looking for the cat & offered me a discount if we needed to stay another night to look for our cat. We took a quick trip to the animal shelter to make sure the cat hadn't been picked up & Krystal called us while we were on the road. She & the manager had found the cat! (He was under a dresser lol). She was almost as excited as we were when we got there. The basic ammenities of this hotel would have gotten 5 stars anyway, but the fact that went above & beyond to help us was AMAZING. We will be staying in Drury Inns any time we can- y'all have made some huge fans! Thanks, Krystal...you really made our day!

What a accommodating, caring, friendly and professional staff, all in one building!!! Arrived there around 0700 hrs. without a reservation, dead tired from driving 13 hrs. straight, 26 ft. truck, towing a car with my wife and two Sheppard driving in the rear. The counter ("Angel") mngr., not only got us into a room within 15 minutes, but upgraded us to a suite at a greatly discounted rate! A two room beauty, with two large flat screen tv's! Free breakfast, great eats at dinner time, free, and free popcorn and soda, all you can eat and drink, free!! Indoor pool and jacuzzi, in house store for those emergency needs. Moving out of state can be a horrible experience, but, Drury Hotels can make it alot more bearable!!!!

Room Tip: Going there is it's own reward!!!!
