Its really a lovely looking place , very quaint and organic looking .
but the people working there are just downright unfriendly ..all four that were on duty at 5pm on a Friday were incredibly rude .
I wanted to look around and i was aiming to spend a lot of money , but they stood there with their arms folded and looked at me like I were a bug in their organic salad .
I felt so uncomfortable I finally just ran out of the place and went to another local health food store .
I'd avoid this place at all cost , unless you're related to them maybe ..

The people in this health food store/restaurant are the snottiest, most hateful people I have ever endured in a store. When you enter the store, it's nice enough with large selections of health foods & supplements. Over in the corner is the restaurant, more like just a few booths thrown up in the corner of a store than a restaurant, reminiscent of the drug store/ soda bar days. The prices are exorbitant as used to be customary with many health food stores. The old days of health food stores jacking up their prices are closing as more & more people are demanding healthy & organic products; but this store seems to be fighting fate to keep standard market forces from working in their particular store.

The spiritual chill takes place when you have the audacity to ask someone who works there a question. The best way I can describe their customer relations is condescending sneers, of the which I haven't experienced the likes of since entering a used clothing store who thought they were Saks Fifth Avenue!

These people obviously think they're "all that" but haven't figured out that since the invention of Al Gore's internet, with it's easy access to any health foods & the United Marketstreet a few blocks away selling organic fresh produce & sporting a nice little discounted health food section, market forces may force Eat Rite to act right.

You can catch me doing 20 chews on each bite my bean sprout sandwich at the park, as I'll never darken the doors of this museum again.

The people are very friendly and helpful. The store is cute and very clean. But the prices are outrageous. It seems that this place is taking full advantage of being the only health food store in Amarillo. I hope to see another health food store open soon that does not overcharge.

Food looks really good but it just ISN'T. The smoothies are really good though!

Great if you want to be healthy, are one a diet or just like to watch what you eat. Avocados are always a plus here.
