Rain is a very unique place. The atmosphere has a very modern urban upper scale vibe to it. The sushi is delicious, I defiantly recommend the hot cheeto maki or the tornado! The entire staff is very good looking as well! But if you want the full best service you can get, I recommend to stay away from eating here on Wednesday, as the whole restraunt get entirely filled and will have a waiting list /:

We decided to come here for a lunch because all we heard was that Rain is the best sushi restaurant in town and that it is sooo good. So, we wanted to see it for ourselves. We ordered the crunchy rain, tsunami, just to name a few. But honestly, we've had better at Lemon Grass sushi and wok even at Hyashi! Nothing spectacular about this place. Other than that, our service was great our server was quick to refill our drinks and kept checking on us.

If you like sushi, and a very nice, upscale atmosphere, don't miss Rain. Not a huge selection of sushi, but enough variety to suite just about everyone. Very good and quickly served.

If I could give this place a zero, I would. Food is okay, but I can get better at other places in town for less and not have to travel all the way downtown. (However, chef needs to be educated on the difference between rice paper and wonton wrappers.) Ordered fatty salmon (sake toro as it was labeled on menu); waitress asked what size bottle?! Ordered salmon skin handroll with both chef and waitress - got a regular roll. Ordered nigiri sushi and got sashimi. Just awful, awful service that got everything wrong and moved at a glacial pace to boot! Avoid this place!
