“Better management needed”
Reviewed November 19, 2013

Not a bad hotel and close to Quarter Horse Museum. King room was very nice but TV almost impossible to see from the bed. Biggest complaint is exercise facility: equipment broken, no towels; no water, etc. A dump. Management should be on top of this. Lots of Mexican and steak restaurants in vicinity. Pretty typical Texas food. Probably won't stay here again.

Room Tip: East facing rooms are best

There's nothing spectacular about this hotel exactly, but it was hopping with people! The rooms were well kept, and I felt their complimentary breakfast was well above average. Very nice.

Their landscaping out back looked quaint - nothing spectacular, but again, nice.

I have absolutely no complaints about the hotel. It's not exactly a luxury suite, but it certain got the job done for a quick family visit. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're just using it as a place to store your stuff and sleep (and I would highly recommend eating breakfast there, too!).

Not hard to get to, friendly staff. Nice big room, nice king size bed. But the tv is placed to the left of the bed against the wall, facing the sofa. And you can barely see it that way. Nice and quiet, shower and toilet are closed off by themselves.

The hotel was a fantastic bargain. Clean, comfortable beds and a great breakfast. I found it by accident through googling and found it is part of the Magnuson hotel chain. Will definitely will look for other Ashmore properties in the future.

Stay at the Ashmore Inn and Suites twice before. This newly remodeled extended stay hotel in Amarillo, Texas is a real bargain. $55 for a one bedroom, $88 for a two bedroom. Both come with full kitchens i was told! I usually get the studio with one bed and a seperate living area for $44. Flaw with the studio is just a stove topper. But $44 a night is a real bargain.

Room Tip: Rooms facing directly away from I-40 are much quiter

My buddy and I were traveling through on motorcycles in August and were very glad to have stayed at the Ashmore. It was certainly a great price, the staff was nice and everything was very clean. We didn't take full advantage of the ammenities, but the grounds looked just as good as the pictures you see on here. The breakfast was also above average. Glad we used tripadvisor to find it!
