I travel to Amarillo periodically for business and have stayed at the downtown Courtyard the last couple of times. Both times the staff has been extremely helpful and kind and the rooms have been spacious and comfortable. It's in an older building, but don't let that fool you. Both rooms I stayed in were updated and modern. I know Amarillo is not really a huge vacation destination, but if you're travelling through and need a place to stay, I highly recommend this hotel. It's just off I-40 in the downtown area. Easy to find and well worth it. I'll be back in a few weeks and I'm glad to say I'll be staying at this hotel again!

I just returned from spending 3 nights at this hotel. The rooms are all new, the hotel lobby is a history museum to the building. You can view news about its original construction and they even kept the original mail drop. I was on the second floor and it was totally quiet, no sound from above or below. The decor was very modern, rooms were excellent in the decoration. There are several places to eat just walking distance away, Crush Wine Bar was very good, we even sat outside. The flies were a little troublesome, but outside of that it was great. Great Hotel in my opinion.

My family stayed here one night (on our way to Wyoming) and were very pleased! We had 2 adjoining suites: 1 with a King bed and 1 with 2 Queens. Both had a couch that folded out as well so we had plenty of beds for everyone. These are real suites, with the bedrooms separate - offers some privacy. The rooms were large, clean, and we had a good view of the city. The parking was convenient. Only one night here, but I would definately stay at the Courtyard in Amarrillo again.

Stayed for a single night and it was fine - for the star rating it was better than expected. Rooms were big and modern - bedroom was clean but bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. The desk staff were very helpful but the staff member cleaning the lobby looked like she'd rather be anywhere else!
The bar had closed at 10pm so we didn't have any experience of service/quality etc, and we skipped breakfast so can't comment on the food.
I'm struggling to find anything to say really - the hotel was inoffensive and pretty average. Great for a night or two but not somewhere you'd want to spend your entire holiday! It's probably more suited to business travellers and people passing through than holidaymakers. Oh, and the parking isn't a problem - it's attached to the hotel and easy to find.

We stayed here while on a family road trip back from Colorado. We arrived very late on a Friday night and weekend revelers were having a good time at nearby bars. This was not a problem for us as we stayed on the 10th floor. Our room was very quiet and the King bed was very comfortable. Our room was very spacious and clean with modern decor. The bathroom was large and clean, but the sink area was very small and the door was a bit of an obstacle. We were paid a visit by a maintenance person several times in the morning, as he was trying to change A/C filters. The parking was a little strange, but being in a downtown location can create these issues. We were happy that we chose this hotel.

Room Tip: Higher floors have less noise.
