Alicia's is a great place to eat for real Tex Mex food. The food is spicy (I love this) and close enough to NM to be given a choice of red or green:-)

We ate at Alicia's only because we needed to eat a late lunch and didn't know most places either didn't open on Sunday or they closed by 2:00, Unlike most Mexican food restaurants, this place does not offer chips and salsa while waiting on your order. Because the restaurant was closing in one hour they said they were out of iced tea and weren't making any more for the day. They don't serve their tortillas in a container to keep them hot. They don't have butter, only a spread. The food was ok, not stellar. The waitress was very attentive.

Probably the best cheeseburger I have ever had......ever! The chili was a little hot but had such good flavor I could not stop eating it.

We spent many mornings in alicia's as poor college students 10 years ago. The food Is still great but getting expensive. We had planned on eating here a few times during our visit but chose only to visit one time for old time sake. I think we will pass next visit. Go if you have never been but plan on spending 8-10 bucks for a burrito and drink
