This place is straight from 1970. I swear the builder built this same place in Fort Stockton (childhood recollection), with the old dark paneling and cheap lighting - how many other reviews also said this! Most of us had burgers due to the pricing on the menu ($10 burger was lowest priced meal). The burgers were nothing special and the buns were old and dried out, and just fell apart. My wife had their filet mignon. It was too small for the price and not a great steak. Go to Los Jalepeno's and have their green chicken enchiladas!

This place is in the front of a hotel (by Holiday Inn Express), to the east, not on the Main Street near the middle of town.

The food is pretty good here but the atmosphere is lacking and needs to be updated. Besides that, it is a good place that is an alternative to the Reata as far as menu choices go.

We enjoyed the atmosphere, friendly service, and wonderful food. Great salad to accompany our meal. Worth the little extra you pay for a meal in Alpine!

The food was not good here and the place just had a dirty feel to it. There are definitely better places to go in Alpine.

When the best part of your dining experience is the starlight mint you eat on your way out, it's not a good thing. The atmosphere was tired and old, but I'm afraid the food they served us may have been older. I ordered the "Tuscan Chicken" which was supposed to be served with red peppers and a garlic cream sauce but the sauce actually turned out to be creamed spinach. The wild rice side dish was so awful, I was afraid it had actually gone bad. My husband's pork chops with brandied apple sauce consisted of two thin, gristly chops covered in apple slices that were flash cooked on the grill, far from any brandy. Please don't waste your time, your money, or your health at this place!
