“Loved! Loved! Loved!”

Had the MOST delicious soup....portobello/chicken. I would have elated the entire pot if made available. Would love to have this restaurant near by....maybe not, on second thought, I might be big as a house,then.....

“Food was good; service was very accommodating”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 28, 2013

I was a little high maintenance last night - required moving tables, changing cocktails, etc. Bonnie Ruth gets 4 stars for not blinking an eye at accommodating my requests.

The food and drinks were good, especially my Croque Madam - as they should be for the expensive (but not too expensive) prices.

Two tips for the restaurant: the escargot (one of my favorite treats) needs more garlic and butter and a little less broth. Also, were just the tiniest bit overdone... And the bread should be crunchy French, not soft and doughy.

“mediocre food, horrible service, horrendous noise”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2013

We tried Bonnie Ruth's for the first (and last) time last night. We should have known that it would be bad when it took 25 minutes for our wine to be served. The service was disorganiized, sloppy and slow, slow, slow. It took 3 hours to be served two courses, it was like the early weeks of Hell,s Kitchen. The food was somewhat below average but not terrible, The worst thing about the restauant was the noise. The live music was much to loud causing the patrons to raise their voices. Giving our food order was a nightmare of screaming and repeating over and over, Normal conversation was impossible. We were approached by a man claiming to be the manager late in the meal. He was dressed sloppily and had a dismissive attitude. We screamed that the music was too loud but nothing was done to lower it. Perhaps he didn't hear us over the din.

“Pricey Sunday brunch but very good food. Loved the crepes and egg Benedict.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013 via mobile

6 of use had Sunday brunch at 11:00. Ticket was about $120. Food was excellent on the buffet. Out of several of the cake choices when we went for dessert. Good service, drinks and eggs Benedict included in buffet. Nice outdoor shopping center area in Waters Creek. Bit pricey, may do again when have family in town.

“Steep price accompanies poor service, average food”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

We dined at Bonnie Ruth on the recommendation of a trusted friend and found almost everything to be lacking except the price. And we should have suspected something of the sort due to the lack of a crowd at 7:45 pm on a Friday night, and by that I mean that good restaurants in this part of the world tha have a loyal following are usually packed on the weekends. My steak was not rare as I had ordered, the escargot was rubbery and our server could not be bothered to pour the wine. We have many finer choices available so we won't be choosing Bonnie Ruth again.
