Description: Texas de Brazil is no ordinary steakhouse. It’s a dining experience like no other. Here, traditions of Brazilian cooking blend with Texas hospitality to create a lively atmosphere in an upscale setting. Your meal begins with a visit to our extravagant salad area where you can indulge in a wide array of seasonal roasted vegetables, fresh artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and other specialties. Then enjoy the rodizio-style dining that has made us famous. An endless parade of gaucho servers visits your table with skewers of freshly grilled beef, lamb, pork, chicken and Brazilian sausage carved directly onto your plate. It’s all served with authentic side dishes of garlic mashed potatoes, Brazilian cheese bread and sweet fried bananas. To complement your meal, select from our award-winning collection of wines or traditional Brazilian bar creations. And don’t forget to treat yourself to one of our decadent à la carte desserts.

With only Fogo de Chao in San Antonio, Texas to compare it to, I have to say that Texas de Brazil fell a little short of my expectations. The lunch was not too unreasonably priced and not crowded at all (could be that it was Monday...). The salad bar expansive and fresh. The selections of meat were very good tasting, but my problem was that they were not hot (temperature-wise) enough, which was odd since we were the first folks eating some of it. The other odd thing was that there were no pamphlets or info at the tables explaining exactly what kinds of meat there were or how many types there were (I counted a total eight different cuts of meat, poultry, and lamb; I thought there should have been more). The wait staff was very attentive and everyone was super-friendly. All around it was a good time that could have been better with some slight changes.

my son and i tried the restaurant because he loves a restaurant in our town that is almost exactly the same. with what we found to be a few differences ...such as...the selection of meat was slim in comparison, also most overwhelming the price difference...my god you'd think you were getting a full steak and lobster dinner, hademade pasteries, and the best bottle of wine in the house for the price they put on your check at the end of the meal. honestly we have the same set up in albuquerque for literally HALF the price...my advice...go down the street pay similar but get your money worth. im upset at myself for having spent that kind of money on something so not worth it.

The meat was very salty. The service was attentive but untrained. The witress insited in on reaching over to refill the water glasses instead of walking around. She swiped finished seemed to be anxious for us to move on. No special attention for Birthday altough it was on the reservations. Very pricey $45 per person for meal PLUS tax and tip. Slald bar is excellent.
