Enjoy the old and new at this place. Seeing the old planes brought back childhood memories of WWII stories by my grandparents. There is a similar museum in Florida along I4 to Orlando.

There are plenty of planes to see spread over four hangers. Staff took us on a shuttle bus to a fifth hanger on the south side of the airfield where we saw the B25 and B29. History buffs will get the most out of this place as it has many different types of aircraft from different era's.

There is free parking. Inside the museum are clean restrooms, a small gift shop and a vending area.

This is a great collection of vintage aircraft mostly from the WWII era but it includes aircraft from the Korean and Vietnam war as well. It now has the B52 bomber called Fifi in its collection shared with the Commemerative Air Force that used to be the Confederate Air Force before that name became a Politically Incorrect pariah .

This is the best flight museum in the Dallas area. They have a lot of planes and if you see guys working on the engines they are not actors. I live just north of the museum and have seen several of there planes flying in the air, the mechanic said that all the planes fly. Nice museum.

My husband is a history buff and his father also very interested in the history of aviation particularly WWII aircraft. This is an amazing museum where your can see the planes up close and personal.
