I hate to admit this, I really do...but I LOVE texas brisket! Please, whatever you do DON'T tell anyone from texas that I've ever said "brisket ain't bbq!" to. Being from NC I like my bbq chopped, porked, and vinagered. Until a couple days ago I'd argued that no way, no how could brisket even REMOTELY be considered bbq. Boy have I been wrong. And this place was great like a NC BBQ joint: home smoked beef; a-la carte side vegetables; fall off the bone meat; picnic table seating; and friendly, blood related staff to take your order and serve. Little Brisket, I stand hat in hand and say: "Thank you, and I'm sorry..."
