First of all, the property was very clean and the rooms were very clean. So clean that is smelled like a mix of a hospital, bleach and hospital bedding. The saran wrapped plastic cups even smelled like bleach???? We stayed two nights. We asked for room service at 1pm. They said "sure", but then they never did it. When we returned at 3pm and realized this, they said housekeeping left for the day and there was nothing they could do. So, I had to go into the laundry area and get fresh sheets, fresh towels, cleaning solutions, rags and toiletries. In addition, the housekeeping thought it was a good idea to vacuum the hallways at 7:30 am and bleach the floors near the breakfast area while we were still eating. The front desk people are absolutely no help and mumbling in a deep Southern accent doesn't count as speaking to your customers in a customer service sort of way.

Thnk you for taking the time to advise us of your recent experience during your stay at our hotel.
Feedback of this nature is an invaulable tool in monitoring, and in this case improving our service to our guests.

I have noted your comments about the cleanliness smell, and although we do not regulary use any 'bleach' on the property, because of the spill problems, perhaps the dilution ratios for our
regular cleaning products is out of balance, and I will check those ratios.

I am very concerned that the hosekeeper failed to return to clean your room as requested, and
this I will investigate, and correct.

The front desk not being helpful is an even greater concern, and will be the focus of my attention.

Again, thank you for taking the time to advise me of your experiences, I can assure you that
the staff and I will be reviewing your comments.

I had called this hotel for the reservation and was told the room had a roll in shower and refrigerator. When I got there they said that only suites had refrigerators and that there was only one handicap accessible room with a roll in shower and it was taken. The maintenance person did get me a cooler with ice for my medications. Also, why do they put wheelchair accessible rooms on the second floor??? What would happen if there was a fire? Can't use the elevator, so, then what??

Thank you for taking the time to advise me of your experiences during your recent stay at our hotel, I am sorry that your experience did not live up to your expectations.

I took the time to research your reservation, and found that it was made on line, and that
there were comments requesting a roll in shower and a refrigerator.Although we do have several handicapped accesible rooms, only 1 has the roll in shower. I am confident that if that room had been available, we would have given it to you, unfortunately it had been occupied for several days.

Concerning your handicapped accessible room being on the second floor, that is a good question, and I will refer it to Microtel.

Again, I apologize that you were not satisfied with your stay, but we provided for your comfort
as best we could, under the circumstances, including offering to place your medicine in a refrigerator downstairs, and finally, when I offered you a cooler with ice.
