“Worth a look if you're nearby”

My wife and daughter and I visited on a Thursday morning. The animals were cute and the farm is interesting to wander around. The lady who gave us the tasting was clearly not happy to be taken away from her work to deal with the gift shop. While I understand it's a working farm, we were there during business hours and shelled out the obligatory $38 for a t-shirt, jar of feta, and square of fudge. A smile or some chit-chat would have gone a long ways towards a better visit.

Who knew goats were so cute!?!?! What a priceless experience! The cheese and milk are great and are okay for the lactose intolerant. One of the many wonders if goat's milk. Check it out!!

“We LOVE this farm!”
Reviewed April 1, 2011

This farm is truly a treasure within the outskirt of Anderson for families and couples to visit and sample fresh goat products. The charming farm setting offers a variety of delicious goat cheese products, fudge and toiletries. One of the farm hands will offer you samples of their products, much like a wine tasting. We especially like the goat cheese encrusted in basil and the feta drenched in sundried tomatoes--my husband always likes a piece of fresh fudge to accompany his cheese selections. For those who like sweet and savory, the goat cheese balls infused with fruit, like apricot, is a must. Since visiting the farm more than five years ago, we have made numerous visits and from afar have ordered gift baskets for friends and family.

“Great cheese and a nice farm to visit”
Reviewed April 15, 2009

Meet some goats and buy fantastic products made from their milk. If you stop by in the spring, you can see the baby goats! They will let you sample some of the products. They sell goat cheese, chevre, fromage blanc, feta, fudge, milk, butter and cheese balls. They have gift baskets that they can mail to people. The baskets are a great gift for someone who has everything and loves food! You can even order more products once you get home and they will ship them to you. They have a folk art shop, other farm animals and tours are available by appointment for a small fee. Source: Lake Hartwell Area Recreation Guide
