This is our favorite "go to" restaurants for fish tacos and an eclectic selection of appetizers. The service is always friendly and accomodating PLUS---the food is consistently good.

This is the perfect casual restaurant, small enough to feel cozy and special, and nice enough to take your visitors or meet friends. The service and food is consistently great, and unlike other places of similar vibe/'coolness', the staff at Takosushi don't try to be all exclusive about it.

I've only had the mexican side of the menu so far, but everything I've tried has come out looking and tasting great--be sure to try one of their fusion dishes like mexican burger or green chile squash soup. They really do nail it every time!

Visiting family and picked this based on local recommendations. Good service and a wide selection that keeps the freshest on the menu. I would not look for a rarity but the dishes were consistent and tasty. Try the hot mama for a unique take on sushi.

An eclectic menu that draws inspiration mostly from Japanese flavors, but also offers a number of Mexican options. Yes, Mexican! And while the combination sounds odd, the sushi was terrific (we didn't try any of the Mexican options). The location on a passage aptly names "The Alley" adds to the intimate feel. We were prompted greeted and seated in the small dining room. Our calamari appetizer was perfectly flash-fried with a light tempura coating and served with a sweet chili sauce for dipping. We ordered two sushi rolls. From the menu came the taste explosion of the Jesse Roll: tempura shrimp, spicy tuna and smoked salmon with avocado and jalapeño. We decided to venture into another fusion with the daily special Mater Roll. This offered great flavors from an unexpected source as it featured fried, green tomatoes. This was an excellent lunch and definitely worth another visit!

Takosushi is on our monthly list of must visits . The sushi is surprisingly fresh . The squid salad is terrific . It is small and intimate . Best bet is to go by 6 or before to get a table . Love the bento box and the volcano role .The wine list is good . It's one of our favorites in the famed Aiken Alley
