“Still the best!”
Reviewed August 18, 2013

The Annville Inn remains our favorite B&B that we have ever visited. Everything from the beautiful home to the luxurious rooms to the food and fun make this the place to go when visiting the Hershey area. Craig and Rosalie are like family to us and we enjoy exchanging stories and updating them on our lives whenever we visit. Their knowledge of the area is unmatched and their attention to detail cannot be outdone. Our next visit will mark our 6th time at this B&B and it gets better each time. On our most recent visit we took full advantage of the pool and stayed in it until 11:00 PM one night, The warm water and blanket of stars overhead made it a truly unique experience. Breakfast was delicious and creative as always. Try the edible flowers with breakfast....they're always tasty.

Room Tip: Everyone should stay in the Secret Room at least once!

John and Sophia, we thank the world of you and are so appreciative of not only your many stays with us at our Inn, but the fabulous reviews you are so considerate to write. You two are practically "travel writers!" It is so much fun catching up on your lives whenever you come here, and when we know you have scheduled a return visit, we anxiously await your knock on our door. It is a personal joy to prepare breakfast for you and to have you here in the Inn.

After visiting the Annville Inn for the third time, we are still highly impressed. Rosalie and Craig are just the best hosts, greeted us with a hug and welcome, so nice to be remembered (I'm sure they see loads of people) Rosalie bends over backwards to satisfy your every need and Craig's work inside and outside the inn is just outstanding. We only stayed one night this time and attended a nearby concert so we booked the smaller Mardi Gras room, knowing we would not have a lot of time spent at the inn. Tho small it is cozy, quite comfortable and very charming in décor, the bathroom has a interesting round shower and the view from the back window over the pool and extending farms and mountains is just gorgeous. We did not have enough time to experience the theatre or game room this trip but have before and there is no comparison, it's like being at a real theatre. Rosalie's breakfast was over the top, a feast for the eyes as well as the tummies including fresh local eggs, meats and juice as well as French toast and fruit. The stocked snack bar available 24 hrs. is a treat and with the keurig, there's coffee anytime you want it. The inn overall is meticulous, well designed with plenty of areas inside and out to relax and escape. Tho we did check out of our room on time, Rosalie did allow us about an hour to enjoy the pool before we left. We travel often and have stayed at many bnbs but this one rates high on our list.

Room Tip: All rooms are decorated with a different theme, so pick what you favor. Some are large and some smal...

My husband Dave and I were needing a weekend to regroup and the Annville Inn proved just the spot. We had a wonderful stay thanks to our warm and gracious hosts. The room was cozy and immaculate. The grounds were just spectacular with the gardens and the view of the neighboring farms was so relaxing. And the breakfasts were fabulous with home cooking and fresh fruit and breakfast meats from neighboring farms.

We highly recommend it and hope to be back soon.

We stay at--for us--a lot of B&B's, about one every other month, six a year, and have been doing so for a decade. We are certainly no experts, but we have been moved to write reviews on two places. One was in Baltimore, and the other is the grandest of all B&B's we've ever had the pleasure to stay in, that would be this one, Annville Inn B&B. Our positive experience started with a phone call. If you ever have a down day, just give Rosalie a call at the Inn. She is the owner/innkeeper. We expected the typical drone of a voice, no spirit or life. Instead we got a sincere, just wonderful professional whose telephone demeanor and whose voice and whose GENUINE excitement for what we were planning just "carried us along." We were sold the minute we spoke with Rosalie. What an accommodating, wonderful and truly professional innkeeeper. Her attention to detail is amazing. We loved our stay and we will become regulars...she has a ton of regulars and followers. Someone said she is known up and down the east coast as one of the best innkeepers. I'd believe it. Place is spotless, spic & span clean, yet oh so cozy and comfortable, and it is huge. Only five guest rooms but lots of public space. They could have been greedy and turned more of those spaces for everyone to use into grand guest rooms, but instead they forgave the income that would generate to create a wonderful garden room for the patrons of the five rooms, two spacious dining rooms, a parlor, an ENORMOUS game room, a beautiful theature--not just a movie room, we're talking real theatre and they taught us how to use it, and they have a real botanical garden, several acres, 3 or 4, I think. Just truly a wonderful stay. Her attention to detail is amazing. Not over done, not too sparce, decorated and enhanced beautifully. We were spept away!

In my review, I first have to say that I have never given a B&B 5 Stars, and I hold them to very high standards. We (My husband and me) have just experienced the best of the best, and we give an impressive five stars to Annville Inn B&B, it is truly the best of the best, starting with amazing innkeepers, going down through the spotlessly clean Inn and ending with gourmet breakfasts that are exemplary. They have acres of manicured gardens (Rosalie's husband Craig is former Director of Hershey Gardens), a movie theatre with popcorn, a fabulous snack bar that Rosalie creates great snacks for herself, each guest room has a different theme, and a wonderful garden room to sit in listening to bird calls. The game room is to die for, and our room, the Great Southwest Room, was both tastefully decorated, and oh so comfortable and...sleepy. We slept and slept, better than we have in a year. We also slept in the wonderful hammock out in one of the Gardens. AND THE SWIMMING POOL! Crystal clear water, super clean, they don't miss a thing! Rosalie bends over backwards to help her guests, and we noticed they all appreciate that--she guided us on an excellent winery tour and directed us to the best local restaurants. We discovered most of the otehr guests were repeat guests. We were the "newbies" and I can tell you we'll be back. Next week, my husband tells his boss we are taking vacation time in August to return to the Incredible WOW! that is Annville Inn B&B. We are actually thankful we found this wonderful place. It is a gem. Oh, I should also say that the Great Southwest Room, besides being so comfortable and SUPER QUIET, has an outdoor living room attached to it, in a sunken garden. What a treat it was to sit under the shelter of the garden's roof and watch the lightening over the mountain range to the north. LOVE THIS PLACE!

Room Tip: We got to see a couple of the other rooms, each room is completely different. We didn't get to...

This inn has the potential to be a 5 star. The property and ammenities are BEAUTIFUL. The food and service are very good. Unfortunately, we arrived after a day in Hershey Park. We barely had enough time to userthe facilities. There are MANY rules and you need to devote 15 minutes for an orientation when you arrive (not necessary if you can read...like a note here and there). Breakfast is at 9am. I got down there 5 min late and the 2 other couples were waiting for their breakfast, so of course I felt bad (they were sweet about that). The chef (hired worker) was VERY good and very professional. I politely asked if we could use the ammenities after our 11am check out (also strongly enforced) as we have been to B&Bs before and the owners were fine with it. I was told only an hour. That being said, unless you don't mind the paying for less than 24 hours, this is not the place for you.

The Annville has to be one of the best US B&Bs we have every stayed in. The facilities will make you wish you had stayed longer. Sadly we were here for only a single night which was way too short. The list of things to do starts with a great pool, a hot tub, beautiful gardens with great PA views, a games room, billiard table and the piece de resistance - a cinema. Yes, your very own cinema complete with leather sofas and even popcorn should you wish. Unfortunately we only had time to sample the pool, hot tub and billiard table.

Our room was the secret room - you need to sample the inn in order to work out exactly what this description means plus I am penning this in rather a rush so can only recount in summary. The room was spacious and very clean with a great washroom and large shower. The hospitality we received from Craig was great and very welcoming with a complete history of the house thrown in. Breakfast was filling and very well prepared.

This really is a place you have to experience for yourselves as to paint the picture in words will always leave without justice.

If you are in PA then you have to stay here and be aware - one night will leave regrets!
