“Police Station Pizza!”
Reviewed August 5, 2012

This is the second best pizza in Ambridge (Frank's is the best). It is quite an experience to walk into the Pizza House (locals know it at Police Station) and place your order. The workers do not write anything down, but one of them remembers how many slices are needed for each person who walks in the door! It is quite a talent and amazing! Make sure you get mushrooms, they are by far the best in the world! They are inexpensive and a great way to stretch your money!

“Not just pizza...This place is an experience!!!”
Reviewed July 19, 2012

I live in ambridge, and before we moved further away, we used to live 2 blocks from this place and would walk down once or twice a week to get this pizza. Its terrific this place has old school, family run feel where Al, Eric, and the guys know who the regulars are as they stand and crowd into the small front of the place. You can see them prep, bake, slice, and box the slices right in front of you. Great crust and cheese make this pizza but the atmosphere of the place make it even better. Definitely get extra cheese on the side to put on your slice once you get it out the door. You can even get half-bakes to take home and bake your own square of greatness. Police Station Pizza (no one here calls it Pizza House) combined with Franks a few blocks away make Ambridge the capital of PA Pizza

“YUM!”
Reviewed May 5, 2012

Police Station pizza is sold by the slice or you can get a whole tray. I recommend getting the extra cheese un-melted if you love cheese, YUM!!!!

“Great pizza, terrific owner!”
Reviewed May 2, 2012

We were having a little family get together this past Saturday and my Mother-in-law offered to pick up pizza from the Pizza House. She pre-ordered unbaked pizza prior to the shop opening and when she went to pick it up she realized they are cash/check only. She unfortunately only had a credit card on her. She was about to leave the shop and head back home to get her check book, but the owner stopped her and told her not to worry about it. He told her just to drop off a check in the next couple of days. Who does that?? The wonderful and trusting owner of the Pizza House, that's who!
