My sons and I always take a weekday trip in the summer to Altoona for shopping and when they were younger, Lakemont Park. We always visit the Olive Garden for the all you can eat soup, salad, and breadsticks. What a deal! The trick is to order water as they really get you with the price of soda. I love the Zuppa Tuscana soup so much that I found a copycat recipe online. The kids like the wedding soup. We get our bellies full for a good priced lunch and then visit the Boyer factory for some "factory reject" Mallow cups (YUM), the Benzel factory for factory priced pretzels, Boscov's and the mall. A fun day!
