We were waiting for our son at gymnastics and decided to get something to eat. We stumbled upon this nondescript location and were extremely delighted with our choice. The service was outstanding. My wife has some dietary concerns and the young waitress was very receptive and asked to kitchen if the requests could be meet. It was. The portions were huge. The price reasonable. The quality excellent. The dessert was from Turkey and was outstanding. The Turkish coffee was strong, just like we like it. A quick and enjoyable lunch. Go and enjoy!!

We took our combined Turkish/American families and the food was great - fresh greens and salad, nice full sigara borek, mercemek soup was great - almost as good as homemade [: Friendly, family atmosphere - one waitress was overwhelmed, but great service, considering.

This is a distination point for truly authentic Turkish/Mediterranean cuisine. Small dining area (appr. 10 tables), but obviously a well sought-after location, given the full house. Although not a fine-dining atmosphere, since you walk through the deli to get to the dining room, the extensive menu and quality presentations are the draw. A reservation is a good idea. Extensive kabob choices of lamb, beef and chicken, all with one of the best marinated seasonings I've tasted, especially since it is not too spicy and no one seasoning dominates. The combination platters are highly recommended, since it is difficult to choose. The red lentil soup and a side of grape leaves seems to be the best way to start--finish with the pistaccio baklava. Quick and friendly service--I'm always impressed when the servers memorize the entire table's orders. The grilled tomato and a grilled pepper are a nice addition to the rice. Both hot and cold pitas are available, which will get me back there for lunch.
