NOVEMBER 26, 2012 Staff is rude and argumentative. Rooms are not cleaned daily although they have the appearance of being clean. Tubs and sinks do not function properly. I have stayed at this hotel on several occasions and the last stay will be my last stay. Staff lies to customers saying that all the rooms are the same but they are not. I stayed at the hotel one night with my white boyfriend and they gave us a clean room, heated and clean laundry. The NEXT night I stayed with a girl friend of mine who was black and with a child and they put us in a DIRTY, NON HEATED room with broken furniture and bed rails sticking out just looking to hurt someone. When confronting the front desk, the lady (with red hair) was really nasty and told me all the rooms had the same accommodations. Which they don't. I have seen mixed reviews about this place but do not be fooled, if you are white, you MAY get a decent room for what you pay for. If you are black, GO TO RED ROOF. These people have no morals and no standards. They are disgusting!!

Room Tip: First level rooms in the back of the office and directly across the walkway, are the best rooms. Tak...

This has to be the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in, Haiti included! Non- smoking room? Not on your life! The smell of smoke was so bad I thought I was at at kick fight. The beds were dirty. There was mold in the bathroom shower. Tub wouldn't drain so we were ankle deep in our own shower water. walls had coffee and what appeared to be ... well i won't say it here. Ceiling had a leak stain and was moldy. The floors hadn't been vacuumed in days. Needless to say you would be better off sleeping at a homeless shelter. Stay away!

Disgusting,in one previous review is saying it mildly. This hotel in my opinion should not even be advertised & AAA should be ashamed for even giving it a rating. Prices were higher than advertised. The continental breakfast was not worth comment the entire place should be investigated by the health dept

Room Tip: Try & book in advance & check Hotel or Motel ratings on tripadvisor or some like website

perhaps one of the worst hotels I have ever been to. Rooms infested with crickets and beg bugs, broken sink that kept over flooding. Nothing really worked in this hotel. Looks like this place hasn't been cleaned in 50 years. Was given a smoking room with 2 kids and was told that that's what they had. Continental breakfast is a joke. The juice dispenser broke early in the morning and no alternative arrangements were made.

Stayed for 1 night as part of a road trip around PA, good value room, bathroom had been recently refurbished so was acceptable. Breakfast was included and was coffee/muffins/bagels and toast etc. WiFi worked also. Good reception staff. Our room was upstairs so had internal corridors hence maybe felt a bit safer than ground floor rooms. All in all pretty good budget accommodation with no problems.

Room Tip: Upstairs room would feel more secure than ground floor.

Like a prior reviewer, we made the mistake of arriving late when we were exhausted and not thinking straight. We stumbled in after driving many hours with a sleeping toddler and by the time I realized the room smelled funny and was kind of gross... said toddler was just falling asleep and we decided to just stick with it. MISTAKE. Woke at 5:30am to use the bathroom and was glad I wore my flipflops because it had flooded during the night (we hadn't even used the toilet the night before).. at which point I noticed that the toilet was VERY unclean (big chunks of excrement sticking to the top rim of the bowl) and realized that the funny smell was probably from prior flooding. The front desk attendant seem unsurprised by this and gave us another room which we basically just used to shower, for me to scrub my flipflops and get the heck out of dodge. Very shady customers lurking around the grounds... hideous common areas. The room next to us had a spiderwebbed fake rose in a vase the window - make of that what you will. I feel like a fool for staying here even one night. Absolutely disgusting.

Room Tip: Don't stay here at all.
