Too loud, poor service, food good, but didn't make up for other drawbacks. Modern interior design spoiled what had been a lovely old building.

Stopped here for the first time last night after finding The Timber Grill is CLOSED . Didn't know what to expect with no reservations on a Saturday night and a full parking lot !
We were pleased to find there was plenty of room in the dining room for dinner . We had the Seafood Roll (New England style) for an app. My wife had the best Grilled Halibut she has ever tasted .My Spanish Steak was done perfectly as I requested,(it was supposed to be a 8oz. strip sirloin but they were out so they asked if I would like a full 12oz sirloin instead @ the same price, which was fine with me ) The mashed potatoes with goat cheese is to die for !Or waitress Rachel was great helping to explain and pick out our menu to our likings all the way to the great deserts !! WE will be back again !!!

Saying bluntly....the food stinks. We tried three times for different meals since they are right around the corner. Each time was worse than the last. The atmosphere and decor is fabulous, they have a deck outside with a waterfall-we have decided to go for drinks only and it is perfect.

So me and my better half we off to the Keswick Theater for a night of live music which was great by the way. Upon recommendation from a friend we stopped at the kitchen bar for dinner before the show. Service was great the food even better. The Red Sanpper out of this world good! Cedar Planked Salmon over the top! Overall high marks for this find on 611. If you are looking for someplace new go try the Kitchen Bar! We will return as they made our first experience there very good.
