Simply fantastic food. We dined in the Lulu dining area. We enjoyed our 9 year anniversary here. My mom has stayed in the inn a few times, and it too is spot on. Beautiful decor. Lots of effort has been given to keep the rooms historic and authentic as possible. The hardwoods and the hardware is immaculate.

Quanit in the Underside. Service is slow but the food is worth it.

Been to this place many times, for groups and private dinners. If you order the filet mignon with risotto, it's a good dish. But if you attempt to go to a "special" or other entree, it's often not worth it. Especially their version of coconut shrimp. Awful. The fresh potato chips with balsamic drizzle are fine, and any dessert which includes the Becks ice cream is good too. In that grand old building, one expects a grander meal and friendlier service, especially from the management.

Very lovely elegant inn, restaurant in Abbottstown, PA right on the traffic circle. We were wowed by the homemade potato chips with balsamic vinegar. Would go back for that treat alone. Great seafood and the waiter was warm and gracious.

We showed up in the middle of the afternoon during what appears to be a shift change, so at first we felt like we were a bother to the staff. Once the evening staff got settled in the experience became much much better. Appetizers were good and they made a proper drink, not to weak and not to strong. That's what I appretiate most about an old classic bartender.n Definately will stop in again.
