Description: LARKS HOME KITCHEN CUISINE celebrates Oregon - its farms, orchards, creameries and wineries - offering dishes that excite and surprise with freshness and flavors. We are passionately committed to offering the most fresh & local ingredients possible. Larks celebrates Oregon's bounty by creating innovative cuisine from scratch, offering a unique dining experience. Our restaurant Executive chef, Damon Jones, is a master in showcasing opulent seasonal ingredients delivered daily from local farms, delighting visitors with the flavors of this amazing region. Larks' kitchen is full of many talented people including two Sous Chefs - Franco Console and Robert Wilson - Pastry Chef Terra Sharp, and many other 'food artists' whose creativity and attention to quality is expressed in every daily special. Dishes like steak, hearty soups, flavorful salads and grilled Northwest steelhead are the most popular. Other specialties include pork chops and apple and caramelized onion fondue. Ingredients like truffle oil, wild mushrooms, hazelnuts, pears, and marionberries layer in the Oregon flavor. Our Pastry Chef's creations depend on what is available that season and include fruit tarts, chocolate cake with housemade salted caramel ice cream, or cranberry-pumpkin bread pudding. Our beverage selection extends the theme of local and seasonal with a choice of herb-infused cocktails made with Oregon spirits, local wines, and beers. Larks' downtown Ashland, Oregon restaurant creates a connection between restaurant guests and our local farmers, ranchers, distillers, and winemakers. Come on in for a taste of local flavor.

“Very nice breakfast”
Reviewed November 12, 2013

We were in Ashland for the Culinary Festival and chose Larks for brunch before leaving town. An excellent choice. Four of us all ordered something different and all of us were very pleased with our choices. My choice was the dungeness crab Benedict and as rich as that sounds, it was light and flavorful. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the sauce did not overwhelm the dish! The ambiance is very nice and the servers were very pleasant and amiable. Would highly recommend it

We loved the food and atmosphere of Lark! It is in the Ashland Springs Hotel and is close to the theaters. Our only complaint was that we both had the delicious special, but it was priced significantly higher than other entree items. We would have liked to have been told the price when the specials were presented by our server. Overall, a good experience!

“interesting flavors”
Reviewed October 22, 2013

A group of us went to Larks before going to a theater up the block. We tried the pumpkin fondue with roasted vegetables which was unique and interesting. The roasted root vegetables were sliced beets, tiny whole carrots, etc. Several in the party had halibut which they liked. Others shared a lamb shank on a herbed potato patty with roasted cauliflower. Again, the flavors were very good. For dessert, we shared a raspberry peanutbutter torte with chocolate sauce and raspberry sorbet, both of which were very different and tastey. The waiters were very attentative. We will go back again.

“Very over rated!”
Reviewed October 20, 2013

Our expections were sadly unmet here, as we found the food, service and atmosphere to be much more like a family diner than the upscale restaurant we were promised. If they would turn the lights down somewhat it could help with the diner ambiance. Locally sourced ingredients -- yes, gourmet preparation--No!

“Larks , go retro”
Reviewed October 14, 2013

When I want to go back in time and feel like I am at a fancy mountain lodge without going to Yosemite I go to larks? Larks, at Ashland springs Hotel has a wonderful ambiance , great food and a very nice bar? The food is down home American with farm fresh ingredients . I have had great pork chops! , fried chicken , salads and tasty deserts. Service is good . Be sure to visit the lobby of the hotel with it's display cases , and deco feel furniture for an added treat. Great place to take guests who want a taste of old time Ashland.
