We were there September 24th through the 28th..
Graham and his staff go out of their way to cater to people.
They also prepare a gourmet breakfast every AM.
We stay here every time we go to Ashland to see the plays.
The rooms are beautiful and exceptionally clean
I cannot say enough great things about this place.
It is like a gorgeous home away from home.
The striking thing also is that Sophia, Graham, Jason and all the staff treat you like family. They actually care about you.
There is nothing better than to see the owner at his place. You know he cares and it shows.
I just cannot say thank you enough for a wonderful stay as usual!

Thank you for this, your FOURTH review of Ashland Creek Inn! Incredible! We can't thank you enough. The staff and I cherish and carefully discuss each review, so having four from one person is especially thrilling. I truly hope that we do see you again someday soon. You were a joy to have, really. You mentioned catering to needs - it is so easy to cater to someone who appreciates what we do, it's people like you that make my job easy!

My partner and I stay at Ashland Creek Inn for up to two weeks each summer, when we make the cross-country trip from Kentucky for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. The inn is our favorite among more than half a dozen Ashland places I've stayed through the years. It's beautiful, with fabulous, spacious suites that have shady creekside balconies or patios. Many have kitchens. We love falling to sleep with the restful sound of the cascading water just outside our window. You'll think you're in the forest, but you're just a block from Lithia Park and the Shakespeare theaters.

Each room or suite is distinct, with furnishings that reflect a particular country or region. We've enjoyed all the suites, especially Japanese-themed Matsu with its own koi pond and large windows to the forest and creek; and Sienna, the Italian-themed suite with a two-person jacuzzi and an upstairs balcony overlooking Ashland Creek. But all the suites are great, so ranking them is a real (fun) challenge. We've probably stayed in all of them except the largest, Taos, and Caribe (which, from what we've seen, is especially lovely although smaller than most of the others.)

Finally, we must mention the friendly, accommodating staff, and the delicious, multi-course breakfasts that are served outdoors in a quiet, picture-perfect garden when the weather is nice.

Ashland Creek Inn is Ashland's best, and is worth a visit as a destination even if you have no other reason to come to Ashland.

Room Tip: Plan ahead in the peak summer months, or you may have trouble getting a room here. It's very pop...

What a coincidence! You two are some of OUR favorites! I know Graham (and now myself) look forward to seeing you each year. Thank you for visiting us, and for the time you took to write this review. You both are a joy to have, that southern graciousness is lovely to be around. Have a wonderful year, we can't wait to see you in 2013!

We've stayed at the Ashland Creek Inn a few times and it is our favorite place to stay in Ashland. From the delicious gourmet breakfasts, to the balconies overlooking the creek, to the wonderfully decorated suites, it's a haven. Being in the center of town and close to everything is a big plus, too!

Room Tip: Because the hotel is so popular you must book far in advance. Some people book a year early. The ro...

We returned here for a week to attend the Shakespeare Festival! Having stayed here six previous years. We have tried several of the differently designed rooms and have a favorite which we do reserve a year ahead, as the hotel is very popular. The staff is outstanding, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a warm reception from Sophia the new manager and the owner, Graham was as charming as ever or as much as one can be "down in the back"! The rooms are clean, charmingly decorated, each in a different style and look out on the greenery lining the bubbling creek just outside your deck. While not cheap, it is worth every penny,- huge, creative many course breakfasts on the deck let us skip lunch and have only dinner before the evenings play. I look forward each year to our return visit.

Thank you so much for your supportive words! The staff and I appreciate your review greatly, especially coming from a top contributor! I will be sure to pass on to them that they were outstanding in their customer service. I love the title too, "a boutique hotel" is the perfect way to describe us. my wife and i have been coming here twice a year for 12 years, for three to five nights each time; have stayed many other places in ashland the ten years before and almost never went back to same one again; the inn has best brkfst, best service in ashland; very accomodating, very friendly, will take special requests for brkfst; we travel in the u. s., and abroad a great deal, and the inn is at the top of the list for comfort, ambiance and all-round excellence; very close to theatres, the better restaurants and downtown; we often park the car when we arrive and never get in again 'til we leave; likely best for couples and groups of adults; all rooms are located on the creek, and most, if not all, have kitchenettes and outdoor decks; all quite nice

Room Tip: matsu and normandy are our favorite rooms; edinburgh is fine, too
