We returned here for a week to attend the Shakespeare Festival! Having stayed here six previous years. We have tried several of the differently designed rooms and have a favorite which we do reserve a year ahead, as the hotel is very popular. The staff is outstanding, friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had a warm reception from Sophia the new manager and the owner, Graham was as charming as ever or as much as one can be "down in the back"! The rooms are clean, charmingly decorated, each in a different style and look out on the greenery lining the bubbling creek just outside your deck. While not cheap, it is worth every penny,- huge, creative many course breakfasts on the deck let us skip lunch and have only dinner before the evenings play. I look forward each year to our return visit.
