“Great food on the creek”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014 via mobile

We always eat here for lunch when we visit Ashland. It is worth the wait to eat outside along the creek. This trip the family had the spanakopita , the tuna melt, and the salad with peppers feta and chicken. Fresh potato chips as a side and marionberry soda.

“Lovely Creekside Dining”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 25, 2014

My daughter and I enjoyed a delightful dinner at the Greenleaf Restaurant on our first night in Ashland. We were promptly seated at a lovely table next to the creek, the weather was perfect for outdoor dining. My daughter had the spanakopita and I had the sauteed vegetables in peanut sate sauce over brown rice. My vegetables were excellent - a terrific selection of broccoli, mushrooms, onions, cabbage, squash, carrots and pea pods. The peanut sauce was very tasty and the organic brown rice was cooked perfectly. My daughter's spanakopita was huge! It was stuffed with the traditional spinach and cheese, and also rested on a bed of sauteed spinach. Service was efficient and friendly, and we never felt rushed as we enjoyed the tranquil setting.

“Good food in a tranquil setting.”

Five of us visiting Ashland from the UK lunched at Greenleaf on a Friday noon. The setting was quiet but interesting, the service was cheerful and attentive, and (most importantly) the food was delicious.

“Great creekside dining”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 23, 2014

We love Ashland and the Oregon Shakespeare Festival so we are there a lot. Over the years, we have developed a list of favorite places to eat and the Greenleaf is one of them. The location is perfect - by the creek which always makes you feel a little cooler on those blisteringly hot dates but beyond that, the food is always terrific. My last lunch dish was the Cubano Hamburger - a great new take on a classic luncheon item. Everything is well prepared, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the iced tea never ending (also great for those hot days). The selection of wines are perfect with the food they serve and it is all reasonably priced.
