“Once again...”
Reviewed February 12, 2007

This is the second review i have posted about Piatti's because I really am upset about the way I was treated there. We had a few bad experiences last year and didn't return for about 6 months. We decided to go back and were dissapointed all over again. We were the only table in the restaurant when seated. The waitress didn't come to get our drink order for over five minutes. When she did, we weren't greeted or asked about drinks, instead she said 'Do you know what you want?' We ordered drinks, an appetizer and food all at once because we felt uncomfortable by her approach to ask for drinks and then order food. Our food was cooked great, tasted great, came out in reasonable time, but our waitress was horrible. She never once checked on us, we would have drank more, but she walked by our table numerous times without bothering to make eye contact. (At this point, we were one of two tables in the restaurant.) I left a scathing comment card because I was really upset. No one should be treated as disrespectfully as we were treated by this waitress. If you don't want to wait tables, get another job, don't take it out on your customers.

“Always a good meal”
Reviewed January 11, 2007

I've never had even close to a bad meal here. We take friends here, start with wine, and get the feel of a meal at home that is cooked, presented, and cleaned up by someone else. Great atmosphere, but don't expect quiet. The staff is well trained and friendly. The only down side is that the menu needs to be expanded a bit, but the food is consistently great.

“Nice menu and good food”
Reviewed July 9, 2006

We've eaten at Pasta Piatti several times, for Ashland, their prices are fairly
reasonable. You can dine inside, and the atmosphere is fairly nice, or outside
on their patio. Most everyone enjoys the food there, we especially like their
sandwiches, pizza and their salads are creative and wonderful! Don't
pass up this place if your visiting town.

“Ok pasta, alittle tasteless”
Reviewed July 30, 2005

We ate here right before going to the Shakesphere Festival. They were careful to make sure we would make the play. All four of us had pasta and it was ok. The appetizer and the wine were better than the pasta.

“Moderately priced Italian”
Reviewed July 3, 2005

Our group happened into Pasta Piatti based on its appearance and moderately priced Italian menu. We found the service to be prompt and the food excellent. Our special requests for changes in preparation and split plates were accomodated. The prices were moderate (entrees in the $8 - $15 range), and there is a nice, moderately priced wine list. The restaurant is located at 358 Main St. Reservations were not necessary for our pre theater dinner.
