My friend bought several bottles of wine after our tasting. They have cool shirts and fun 'wine' accessories

The lady who owns it is not at all friendly! She admonished us for shooting some photographs of our daughter after purchasing a bottle of wine to drink there on the property. Also, Wine Club members were given wines from another winery out of California that were not Paschal Wines.

I had been to Pascal a few times for tastings and the service was ok. Not sure if it changed hands, but on our last visit, we were there with out of town friends, late afternoon, and the 6 of us were the only customers. After three of us did the whole tasting, we were purchasing 3 (not inexpensive) bottles of wine and the pourer refused to apply the cost of one of the tastings to our (over $60) purchase. In addition she was snarky, as if we were taking up her time. Very poor customer service skills, even if she didn't want to deduct the cost of the tasting. Won't be going back unless a friend's family invites us to a wedding or somethign there. There are plenty of friendly tasting rooms and vintners around to choose from. Who needs this ?

Paschal Winery is on the east side of Highway 5 in Talent, Oregon, just north of Ashland. The tasting room is roomy with sofas and seats to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine afterwards. There is also a small deck in back to enjoy the view. You can get a plate of cheese and crackers to enjoy with your bottle. The owners are very pleasant, the wine is excellent, and the view is worth spending an hour or two over a bottle and some cheese or snacks.

We decided to try this winery on our trip this fall. I am glad we stopped there. They were very nice and gave us a great sample of their wines. I especially liked the Indulgence. Try it if they still have it.

The view here couldn't be better. Bring some extra money and get a cheese plate and sit on the patio and look out at the pear fields.

Oh and check their website to see if they are having any events while you are there. We missed out on a concert which I think would have been nice!
