The Winchester Inn is a step back in time as far as the decor goes paired with forward thinking food that was as beautiful to look at as it was to eat.

Thank you so much for writing! We are a juxtaposition when it comes to Victorian architecture paired with modern American cuisine. Our Chef, Billy Buscher, takes great care in finding unique twists on both old classics and new favorites. I know that the kitchen staff is greatly appreciates the kind comments. We hope to have you back soon.

I wanted to take take my wife and girls (and friends) out for a special brunch on my wife's birthday and we thought we'd try the Winchester Inn in Ashland, OR. Sometimes it can be difficult to find the perfect "brunch-place" but I think we have found it! It happened to be snowing lightly, which can easily happen in Southern Oregon in Spring, but the actual warmth inside and The WI's warm hospitality provided a delightful contrast to the conditions outside. Our hostess, a pleasant and friendly young lady, also turned out to be our waitress...and she was perfect! She attended to the needs of all seven of us, yet she let us have our socializing time and was always there at the right time. We have been here in the past for "Dickens Christmas" dinners and I must say that this was every bit as enjoyable--minus the entertainment. The brunch dishes were fairly traditional and I really liked the Oregon-California variation of Eggs Benedict featuring sliceed avocado and crab-meat! The Eggs Winchester also looked very yummy! All told, our table for seven, which was surrounded by walls and/or glass-partition-topped half walls, was the perfect area for us to enjoy ourselves and enjoy the excellence and brunch fare of this Ashland, OR classic!!!

I am thrilled to hear that you loved your brunch! Raina, your waitress, tries exceptionally hard to make sure that everyone gets the attention they deserve. There is little better than enjoying a warm fresh scone while the snow falls outside.

Be sure to check online as with a change in season so comes a change in menus. The Chef always gets excited by the prospect of fresh ingredients that spring brings.

And, thanks again for the review! Can't wait to have you back.

We were walking about Ashland looking for a place to eat and ran across The Winchester Restaurant and Wine Bar in the Winchesster Inn. The wine bar was relaxing, friendly and served great drinks or flights of wine. The restaurand served on of the best dinner we have had in some time. The service was excellent, the salad and soup wonderful and the entree's wonderfully prepared and paired with delicious vegetable pairings. We highly recommend this establishment.

Our daughter from New York was visiting Ashland (2nd time in 5 years) because she had commitments in California. Wanting to impress her with a good restaurant, we chose the Winchester Inn. None of us were disappointed with the quality & presentation of our food. Our daughter works in the wine industry & was impressed with the wine knowledge of our waiter. He chose a Pinot Noir from the Willamette Valley that none of us had tried before & we were thriled.
