We love eating outside at Peerless. The garden is lovely. The food is excellent and so is the wait staff.

“Lovely for a couple, superb for a group”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

Our group of 12 had dinner last night at the Peerless Restaurant and it felt as if we were at a sophisticated (but not stuffy) fine restaurant in LA, NY or SF. Todd helped us plan the evening (he was very sincere and honest and offered great suggestions about making the evening special and personal). He arranged for us to be in a private room and he lighted a fire in the fireplace. All of our guests remarked about how special the room was. Server Toki (smart, professional, adorable) took GREAT care of us and Chef Stefan created amazing starters (asparagus and truffle soup) and entrees (halibut cheeks, rib eye, etc). The wine list is a great blend of imports and the top Oregon wines (we liked the Brandborg riesling). Everyone at our table raved about the food, the service and the setting.

“Great food but expensive”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 26, 2012 via mobile

We ate here in the garden at the end of the summer and immediately wondered why we were the youngest people here (30's). We opened the menu and looked at the prices, oh that's why. Very expensive (nearly $10 for dessert!) but excellent service and food was good. We are from the city and have dined at many restaurants and this was the most $$ Ive seen charged for dessert. Probably wont be coming here again soon as we can dine at other nice places around town for half the price.

“Evening at the Peerless”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

My husband and I live in Ashland and we go to the Peerless on special occasions. The experience is more than just a dinner out... It's the atmosphere (inside and out), the speciality drinks and wine list, and of course the food. We also appreciate the staff. Whether you are a local or a tourist, try to fit an evening at the Peerless into your itinerary.

“Slightly out of the way but worth the walk”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 24, 2012

The food was terrific and the service excellent. It's a bit out of the way, in the "railroad district" but still an easy walk from Main Street.
