My wife and I came here for dinner. I loved my burger! She devoured her scallops with zeal. Pommes frittes are tasty, but difficult to eat. We still crave the carrot cake.

“The Peerless was Flawless.”
Reviewed March 28, 2012

Went out to The Peerless on a rainy evening with some friends. We were warmly greeted and seated at a window table in the back room. We love the ambiance of the entire restaurant and especially this room. Their wine list is pretty sharp and their cocktails are very well-made. We had some salads and their French Onion Soup with Pippin Apples. This reduction version of the classic soup was different and very good. Three of the four of us had the seafood special, The Hawaiian Hebi, which has a taste and texture somewhere between swordfish and halibut. It was served on a bed of mashed potatoes and was outstanding! They have a great pastry chef here anworse two ladies got the almond torte, which they did on a milk-chocolate swirled plate...very good. The Vanilla Creme Brûlée was pretty standard. Altogether, we had a superb experience and everyone who interacted with us was friendly, professional and engaged!

“classy and tasty”

They have a small menu so you don't have to spend for the more expensive experience. The place is quiet, sophisticated and intimate, yet they had a good guitarist playing at the bar.
