My husband and I stayed here for the Ashland Chocolate Festival. We had a wonderful stay. The lobby is very charming and beautiful with a huge fireplace and wonderful vintage/antique furnishings and botanical decor. The staff was engaging and worked hard to make sure we had a great experience and were very accommodating to our requests. Jeri in reservations put us in an excellent deluxe king room with a great view (room 812). The room was cozy, quiet and very nice. The bed was very comfortable. She also went out of her way to find chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne and made sure it was in the room when we checked in (they were delicious). Ava (the food and activities director ?) went out of her way to make sure we were happy as well (even giving us a complimentary gift). The restaurant (Larks) was well staffed, very accommodating and had delicious food. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner and her son and she was gracious enough to take time out of her busy schedule to tell us a bit about the hotel.

I stayed at the Ashland Springs hotel on MLK weekend. The staff were fine, and the lobby was very nice. The sitting areas next to windows in each hallway were right next to a very loud vent and were kind of dusty. The rooms were small, but were made cramped by the rollaway bed we had. The bathroom had inadequate lighting, and the water pressure could've been better. Apart from that the room was very nice. The restaurant, Larks was very nice. Great proximity to ski area. Will stay here again.

The Ashland Springs Hotel is so nice, so classy ... and a bargain in the off-season ($100 for a queen room, AAA rate). We had a corner room ... great view in two directions. Room was small ... I believe they call it a queen boutique room ... but reminded me of hotel rooms in Europe. Bathroom was plenty large. Bed very comfortable. They don't seem to advertise wi-fi but they have it and it works well (free). Many channels on the flatscreen TV. Good breakfast selection, including hot oatmeal.

I went in the off-season so got a pretty good rate. The room was quite small, but there was a really nice view and the bed was very comfortable. The hotel itself is really beautiful, and it's in a prime location. The continental breakfast was fantastic, way better than most.

The Ashland Springs Hotel is the tallest building in the downtown Ashland area. So you can't help but have a great view of the gorgeous mountains that surround Ashland. The check-in process was friendly & efficient, the room was beautifully decorated, the bed was extremely comfortable, and an iron/full-size ironing board as well as 2 robes were in the closet. The only thing that could have made me like it even more than I did was to have had an in-room coffee maker. But I would definitely go back!!
