I am basing 4 rating on comparably priced hotels not luxury places. The good: rooms are decent with frig and microwave; free breakfast; indoor pool and jacuzzi;. gym; coffee maker in room; very good and helpful staff. The not so good; breakfast very basic; gym very small(but nice pool); hear outside noises especially doors closing; not downtown.
About 3 miles from town. No problem if you have a car. If not buses don't run often and there is no Uber. You will have to take a cab. If you are coming for Shakespeare festival suggest you stay downtown. Otherwise this place is fine. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

I was especially pleased with the breakfast. They had decaf black tea (not the herbal tea one is often offered when asking for decaf), honey for pancakes instead of the artificially flavored syrups, and a choice of turkey or port sausage.
Rooms clean and spacious.

This is a typical Holiday Inn Express with a good breakfast and clean rooms. Everyone was friendly and helpful. However, if you come for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival this hotel is at the edge of town and not within walking distance. Parking is difficult at the Festival.

This is a nice hotel right off of Interstate 5 on the edge of town. It is your usual Holiday Inn Express with a good breakfast and clean rooms. There is plenty of room and a friendly and helpful staff. There are a couple of decent restaurants near by. This is the place to stay if you are on your way to someplace else. However, the center of town is just 5 minutes away.

We enjoyed staying at Holiday Express. It is the second time that we have stayed there. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We get a queen suite to have a little more room. Everyone is helpful and friendly. It is nice having breakfast in the morning. Caldera brewing is in walking distance which was great. It is located close to the freeway.
Stephanie at the front desk was great! Everyone from the front desk, housekeeping and dining staff was pleasant. Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Room Tip: the ice is on the first and 3rd floor. I think it is worth it to get the suite.
