We always come here for the Pho for dinner or lunch before a play. Great service and their back stairs take you right up to the Bricks of OSF and you are right at your show!

I have eaten here several times over the last few years and have never been disappointed. Last night I ordered the Mongolian Beef which had just a touch of nip to the tender slices of beef. A friend had seaweed salad, something I would never order on my own, but tried some-delicious! There is an extensive sushi menu, also tempuras. The pataka chicken was wonderful..... Prices are very reasonable. Service attentive without hovering. And if you exit through the back door, you are next to the Festival Gift Shop and in the midst of the Green Show. I'll be back for another meal during this trip to Ashland.

This quiet, nicely appointed restaurant is on the same block as the Shakespeare Festival theaters. The Japanese/Asian inspired food was very good, the service excellent and the prices very reasonable. We enjoyed our dinner here so much the second night of our one week stay in Ashland that we went back for our final night in town.

We stumbled upon this little gem on accident. Heading out to the brewery which ended up being closed I remembered tarokos getting excellent reviews. Everyone loved their meals but the sushi was great but the appetizers were to die for. We will be back for sure.

Taroko emerge from the ashes of another Asian restaurant, that for some reason, disappeared. The atmosphere hasn't changed but we were very surprised at the quality of the food. It was excellent and reasonable in a town that tends to feature expensive restaurants that cater to the "big city" folks that come to enjoy the plays. The soups are excellent and can be shared and the sushi is well prepared. After ( or before a play) this is a reasonable and excellent choice if your tastes veer to Pan Asian cuisine.
