I love Happy Falafel and I have yet to be dissapointed. They have great food, great services and great prices. I highly recomend it to all who want something a little different for lunch. Its all made fresh and fast and you can eat in or carry out. Great for lunch with friends, for a casual date or a quick solo lunch. Not sure if the kids would like it since its not an everyday American flavor. They are in a great location too; right across from the SOU tennis courts in the shoping center with the Cinema. They don't have a lot of seating but they have some and its easy to take your food to-go and make a picnic of it across the street. My favorite is the Giro and Greek Fries but don't forget their yummy dipping sauce.

Just had lunch there today. It was decent. I had the chicken souvalki which was a pita stuffed with grilled chicken, tzatziki and tomatoes. My husband had the falafel sandwich which was not that good. It tasted bitter (possibly from bad oil?) and so much sauce on it that the pita bread it was in fell apart completely. This place was ok, not horrible. Its cheap but not the best falafel I have had. This place does having a thriving to-go business so maybe that falafel was a bad batch or just an off day.

Hole-in-the-wall place with a few stools, a counter, and a busy staff, turning out tasty falafel, gyros, and other middle-eastern goodies. The shrimp-pesto pita is amazing, and the fries topped with feta-garlic are addictive. There's also chocolate-covered baklava. Everything tasted fresh and was prepared quickly. I've been there several times.
