“Wow. Just Wow.”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

Known for the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, there's another stage in town worth the price of a ticket. OCT stages wonderful productions, often musicals, that exemplify the best of American theater. And, they've got a cool new building, paid for by adoring fans.

“Great setting”
Reviewed August 11, 2012

The Old Globe (actually the Elizabethan Theater here) is a great place to see a play, open to the evening air and with a sense that you are seeing a play as they were meant to be seen in the great play era of 16th century England. The performances are cheerful, and strive to entertain. I saw the Very Merry Wives of Windsor -- Iowa, a conceit based loosely (very loosely) on Shakespeare. It had an amusing premise but was somewhat overworked by the end.

“Always a fun experience”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

We have attended perhaps 8 cabaret performances. Each one is unique, professional, and most are fun and funny. The singing and dancing are a delight, and sitting near the stage is a hoot. How they do so much on such a small stage excites me. The food and drink are also a treat if you choose to have both entertainment and good eats.

“Top Notch Entertainment”
Reviewed August 7, 2012

Awesome shows in a fantastic, cozy venue. Side balcony seating is a little cramped and not the greatest view....but other than that, there are no bad seats in the house. We've been 3-4 times over the past few years and have been impressed with the talent every time.

“Great Fun!”
Reviewed August 4, 2012

I've seen two shows and both were lots of fun! It's a great little theater in an old church. Ive only had appetizers, wine and dessert there but everything was good, nicely presented and the service was excellent. Everyone is really friendly - its just an all-around upbeat fun time!
