I attended an event there that was very enjoyable. The place is in a beautiful setting. However, after the event was over, I had an unpleasant experience with the owner, who was unprofessional, rude, and nasty, and became physical. His behavior was totally inappropriate. I do not like to support places that have this kind of owner.

If you're visiting Ashland and need to be right in town, look elsewhere. But this lovely hotel 40 minutes from the downtown is definitely worth the drive. Everything about it exudes good cheer and warmth and woodsy charm. The restaurant serves great meals. The staff is marvelously friendly. The hotel welcomes guest with dogs--without charging the usual annoying extra fee. We stayed in one of the regular rooms, but I hear the cabins are amazing. We'll definitely try one next time.

Room Tip: Make sure to have dinner or breakfast here.

The room was clean and good for those who don't want to be near lots of people. It is a little drive to get there. It can be difficult to get to in the dark will all the curvy road as you go up and down the hill. It was quiet and bed was soft.

Dinning room is not open till 9 AM and closes by 9 pm. So far those who want to eat early, you will need to drive to Ashland.

We recently had the opportunity to eat dinner at the Green Springs Inn where the food was delicious and the service was good. We look forward to returning again when in the area. Try to sit on the outdoor patio when the weather is cooperative.

We came from near San Francisco and stayed 3 nights for a wedding. Just loved Hobart Peak Cabin. Best stay ever...they thought of everything for the cabin from games to toothpicks to hot cocoa, and a completely equipped kitchen including a dishwasher. Check out the amenities: screened porch. huge deck, hot tub, loft, comfy beds and down comforters & pillows, gorgeous stone tilework, big windows that make you feel you are living out in the forest. Grounds are pristine, clean, beautiful, quiet & serene. Wedding site was nestled in the forest and food was great. Staff was super friendly and accommodating, knowledgeable and professional yet super casual. This is a very well run establishment and I highly recommend it to those who like to stay off the beaten track. We will be back!
