“Another great stay”
Reviewed February 29, 2012

I stayed here in December for two nights while attending a funeral. Upon checking in they had upgraded my room to a suite, which I was very pleased about. Our room was very quiet even though one of the evenings there was a basketball team staying there as well. Breakfast was great each morning with cereals, waffles and sausage gravy with biscuits. This was my second stay during 2011 and each visit I was very pleased with the service and price. Keep up the good work!

My family of 4 stayed here for two nights on Feb 17-18. Our visit happened to be the same weekend that several high school sports teams were holding tournaments. Hotels in the area were pretty booked because of that and there were many kids staying at this Quality Inn. Both nights were extremely noisy with kids running up and down the halls at late hours, talking loudly, and just generally being rowdy. Unfortunately, this included the room directly across from ours. The manager was informed of this on the second night and did talk with the people, but after he left, the noise and rowdiness resumed. I had to sleep listening to my iPod if I wanted to sleep at all.

The room itself is worn and outdated. There were two large chips in the white porcelain sink, and the toilet paper holder was falling off the wall. The pillows are about half the size of a normal pillow. It appears that there is no soundproofing in these rooms. Running water can be heard from other rooms, and the door rattles when someone walks down the hallway. You can imagine what it sounded like with kids running and talking loudly in the hall.

We were told that the room price was $75 per night per room, which we confirmed with the front desk when we checked in. We had two rooms, so the expected total was around $300. Instead, we were charged $149 per night for each room. We challenged this at check out and were credited $25 per night per room. A nice gesture, but still quite a bit higher than we were told on the phone and during check-in.

We stayed at the Phoenix Inn for our third and final night in Albany. The difference in quality is night and day and the price for this night is $69. My advice is to stay away from the Quality Inn and chose one of the better hotels in the area, such as the Phoenix Inn.

We stayed here just for an overnight, and were impressed. The room was large, well-maintained, lots of amenities. The Inn is back a bit from I-5, so our room was quiet. Breakfast is included, and is good. This place is a good value.

Room Tip: We were on top floor (3), and our room was quiet.

Room was small and smoky with a lot of hall way noise. Although the breakfast was nice and the staff friendly.

Unable to find place in Corvallis for the weekend due to events there, so settled for Albany, which is a pleasant 20-25 min from Corvallis on Hwy 20. Nice, quiet facilty. Front desk was just ok. Room was nicely arranged. Weak shower head. Very good breakfast. Biggest disappointment was realizing I'd accidently reserved a smoking room. The inn was completely full so we were stuck in that heavily smoke-permeated room. I've never had to sleep in these conditions and it is NOT a pleasant experience, No fault of the facility of course, just mentioning it to warn others to play close attention to what you reserve on line!

The room was very drab, dark, sparse and dated. Poor lighting. Refrigerator was broken. Staff was rude. Can't use fitness room as it disturbs guests in other rooms. Not a very intelligent place to locate the fitness equipment. In town on business. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Just off the fwy but in a quite side street, not much traffic noise and with the A/c on, you sleep very well on a firm clean bed. This place is very clean and the employees are very nice. The breakfast was also good. Have stayed here several times and if the rate is not too high, this place can be a bargain.
