I have had many bad experiences at papas, for example we were celebrating a birthday party one of the couple with us ordered a hand made pizza after the pizza arrived they asked for some crushed red pepper as the server brought them the pepper they shook it onto the pizza and a cockroach fell out and played hide in seak on our table. The owner came to the table and explains that she try's very hard to keep them out of there and she will comp the price on the pizza some when they recived there ticket there was a 41 cent manager discount on the ticket. I wouldn't recommend this place to a pack of starving dogs. This is one example of many terrible experiences at this so called fine dinning.

Recently tried this restaurant while on business, delicious food, great martini, and pleasant ambience. Building is dated and flooring feels as if it may come up, but food is great!

Papa Gjorgjo serves the best Italian cuisine I ever tried in my entire life. I love their spaghetti and meatballs as well as their garden salad. Everything in the restaurant is marvelously served, and the food is absolutely gourmet. It's simply delicious!
Papa Gjorgo has the best staff! I love going there and conversing with the waiters, who are incredibly friendly! Don't miss out! Go to Papa Gjorgjo's! It's a great restaurant! And as for the atmosphere, it's about as Italian as you can get! It's the best restaurant in all of Ada! :)

This is an outstanding restaurant run by a real husband-wife team who CARE about the food, the service and the atmosphere. Located in an older downtown store, it has been remodeled into a charming, European style restaurant with bar in the rear and Deli on the side. Soups and salads are delicious. Try the house dressing which is a wonderful, tangy tomato based dressing. You'll want to buy a bottle to take home. Entrees are all good but the best is something called the Seafood Combo...tons of mussels, clams, shrimp and scallops on a bed of pasta with a spicy red tomato sauce. Not cheap (it'll set you back close to $20) but amazing! Their Creme Brulee is to die for...so rich and creamy you will want another one right after you finish the one you've got. It's made daily by the chef...George (hence the name Papa Gjorgio). For lunch, the deli has wonder, home-made flat bread that they will slice and load up with your favorite meats and cheeses. Add a cup of homemade soup and it'll set you back $6....a bargain considering a combo meal at Arby's is that much or more.
Service is fun too. Many of the wait staff are from Europe and attending the local college. Very attentive. DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO TRYING PAPA GJORGIO'S NORTH AT THE CORNER OF LONNIE ABBOTT AND MISSISSIPPI. THAT IS A DIFFERENT RESTAURANT (though with the same owners) BUT HAS A FAR DIFFERENT (and less exciting) MENU. Go to the original Papa Gjorgio's downtown for the real experience.
