First impressions are rarely wrong, in spite of what the HI Express desk clerk said! Upon driving into Antone's parking lot, it is pothole city, and it's even worse on the east side of the lot. Walking in the front door, the carpet is very worn and pretty much all the decor is dated. Servers are helpful and very pleasant, but that's about as good as it gets with the exception of the garlic rolls. My spaghetti (and smallish meatball...as in one!) was made with angel hair pasta and the sauce had a more than just slightly-off, weak taste, and the burger for the meat wasn't very high quality. My cup of soup was tasty, a bean and Italian sausage offering, but its temperature ranged between cold and lukewarm. My ice water had little ice and wasn't refilled without asking. This is an Italian diner, decent prices, no wine sales and that's about it.
