After staying at a Fairfield twice last month we were expecting great things. Was it great? No. Was it good? Yes. Check-in was smooth. When I made the reservation I asked for a king room on the top floor. When we arrived the requested room type/location wasn't availabe but since we are marriott rewards members they upgraded us to a king suite. The room was clean and had a lot of space. They were missing a remote for one of the two TV's, they hadn't left us the small bottle of lotion (we did have shampoo/conditioner) and we did not have a bath bar of soap (we did have a face bar). The bed was comfortable and we did not hear any noise from the hall or other rooms.
Breakfast was standard hotel breakfast, generally ok but my bagel was stale. The eggs that other reviewers mentioned seemed fine to me.
Our stay wasn't great, but it certainly was good. Our AAA rate with tax was approx. $100 (cheaper than other hotels in the same range at that exit). For that price I would stay again.More
