This Italian-themed restaurant seems quite busy, but provides attentive service. We found a nice variety of dinner items that pleased both hearty eaters and dieters. Featured appetizers were sufficient to share and all food preparation was flawless. We plan to return to sample other offerings.

This is a hidden gem in Aurora. Have lunch here often. Lots of good stuff. I love the Stuffed Hot Cubanos. All the paninis are outstanding. The P.L.T., Prosciutto and Mozzarella and Hot Italian are my favorites. Eggplant parmesan is fabulous and the Fettuccine Boscaiola is to die for. The staff is friendly and attentive. Don't miss Cafe Toscano when in Aurora.

Went for a b-day surprise dinner, staff were great at keeping secret. Quaint little place with open kitchen area. Hits = wonderfully fresh tasting red sauce (tad on sweet side) on chick parm, which was a beautiful breast with perfect amount of breading & not at all greasy. Pizza (ordered a large but was told they were out ??? so instead gave us 2 smalls) also a hit. Olive oil/bread on table great combo of flavors, fresh bread. A huge hit was the chocolate gelato…YUM ! Our server was fun & helped make our night fun. Misses = house salad was empty of anything but mixed greens & carrot slivers, very boring & unimpressive. Shrimp risotto way underseasoned, no flavor at all except for the bites with sun dried tomato (although shrimp cooked perfectly & large). Sadly the tiramisu also a big miss. Would definitely return and try other items and skip salad & tiramisu.

Cafe Toscano is a great resturaunt for dining. It is small enough to get a great environment and the service is amazing! Our server was Mark and his recommendation is a little off the menu but worth the adventure. I ordered the Penne Arrabiata but with the "Mark" spicey sauce and sausage ... WOW! Give this a try... Also, save room for dessert. The price is reasonable, salad, entree and dessert with drinks is around $70.00 for two. Go and enjoy and tell em' Big Halloween sent ya~!
