Hidden in the unpretentious White Pond mall, D’Agnese’s Trattoria has a lot to recommend it. First, it is popular, so if you go at a busy time, make reservations. We did not do so, and ended up in the café sports bar area, which is not as loud as you might imagine.
The food was fresh was well-prepared. We especially enjoyed the White Pond dinner salad and Salmon Scarpiatta. We found the menu to be comfort food-oriented rather than a culinary challenge, and that is exactly what you want sometimes.
