“Great afternoon activity in the city”
Reviewed January 29, 2013

Any time of the year is great to visit Stan Hywet, they always have some fun activity going. A great couple activity was going to see the lights this past winter after a fresh snow. Not only were the lights outside beautiful the interior of the mansion was decorated to the period and was lovely. This wasn't just a couples activity, I saw many groups, friends and families there enjoying the holiday season as well.

“Awesome Home”
Reviewed January 11, 2013

The house is stunning, so many modern conviences were added before they were available to most homes. they had a flower room and florist to keep fresh flowers throughout the home, a pool that fills to different levels and automatically can be covered to use as a floor.Outside the grounds are beautiful and large can wander for an hour or so, worth a visit

“Incredible home”
Reviewed January 4, 2013

My husband and I toured this home during the summer, what an incredible home this would have been to grow up in. The gardens were perfectly manacured and beautiful. There is a greenhouse on the grounds and at the time there was a butterfly exhibit, you could walk through the greenhouse and be surrounded by butterflies.
