Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

“Our favorite beach place”
Reviewed October 18, 2012

We spend alot of time at Emerald Isle Beach and whenever we go, we go to Amos Mosquitos. The owner always remembers us and says hello (impressive with the number of people who go through this place!), the wait staff are very friendly and attentive, and the food is good. It's a little pricey, but hey, it's at the beach - everything is pricey there. We love that you can sit inside in the creative decor, or outside an enjoy the Intracoastal Waterway view. Love this place!

“Just OK but nice T-Shirt”
Reviewed October 16, 2012

Sharp wait staff. Lot's of personality and smiles. I ordered oysters and wife ordered shrimp (fried). Could not substitute the side vegi from the menu. Not good. The was perfect with fresh taste. The oysters were tiny and did not taste fresh but were fried to crisp perfection. Beautiful view of the sound and grass land.

“Little pricey, but very good”
Reviewed October 15, 2012

Good food, really neat atmosphere here. The crab cakes are a must and the smores at the table dessert is something different I had not seen before. We had no problem getting in and seated around 6, gotta love the off-season.

“Disappointed.”
Reviewed October 8, 2012

The food was satisfactory only, and the environment was more like a cafeteria. The food seemed to be a bit pricey for the quality and the quantity. On a positive note, the staff were extremely friendly and cheerful.

“They really do it right!!”

The wahoo special was superb. My girlfriend and I were allowed to eat at the bar, so no waiting for a seat or service. The staff and owner are most friendly and drinks came quickly. Always has everyone ensuring you have a most enjoyable experience. A+!! We will return soon.
