Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

“Great food, worth the wait.”
Reviewed October 2, 2012

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Atlantic Beach. Food selections range from fresh seafood to meat loaf. Portion sizes are very adequate and the food is good. I have never had anything bad from this restaurant. I had the Crab Cakes, which were excellent. Lots of crab, very little filler. Excellent and informative wait staff. They have outdoor seating which they can enclose when the weather is cooler or rainy. There is a view of the Atlantic Beach bridge. Be aware that there has always been a crowd when we have been here. Therefore, there is always a waiting time. But, the food makes it worthwhile. My daughter and her husband went back on Thursday night for sushi and said it was very good.

“Good food, a little pricey”
Reviewed October 1, 2012

We have gone to amos for the last two years while we are on vacation. We were more impressed the first year. One member of our party ordered the crabcakes and they were quite small. One member of our party never got his salad. It's a nice little place, but certainly moved down our list of priorities for next year.

“Great Restaurant + Great Bar”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This place is busy for a reason. The service was fantastic, our server "Puddin" was effusive, we sat outside on the water, dinner and desert was memorably delicious!

“Good food, reasonable prices.”

The Ribs and jerk chicken were very good. The seafood pasta was a little bland. The service and atmosphere were nice. I would go back.

“Best Dinner on our Trip”
Reviewed September 28, 2012

My family was happy all around with the food and service. If the weather is nice, I suggest sitting on the patio. Very scenic view of the Sound.
