Description: Welcome to Amos Mosquito’s Restaurant & Bar – or more affectionately known by locals as “Skeeter’s”. Established in 1999, Amos Mosquito’s offers a family friendly environment with a menu of fresh seafood and a wide variety of creative entrees. While in our first location on the Morehead City Waterfront, and here in our present location on Atlantic Beach overlooking beautiful Bogue Sound, we’ve had one primary goal in mind – to create the most unique, fun, and high quality dining experience that can be found in Eastern North Carolina. We have a seasoned staff of chefs, servers, and hosts who are passionate about making customers happy. Although we specialize in local seafood and offer at least two varieties of fresh fish every night, our menu also features chicken, pork and Sterling Silver beef.We make all our salad dressings, sauces and desserts in house and have a great children’s menu loaded with fun games and mosquito facts.Thursday nights are sushi nights at Amos Mosquito’s. We offer a full menu of fresh, made to order sushi in addition to our regular menu.Amos has a full bar and a wonderful, reasonably priced wine list.Reservations are not accepted, but you may call us to place an order for take out.

We came here for a birthday celebration and were delighted. The food was to die for! I had the crab cakes pasta and it was so good I'm craving it a week later. The place has cool, funky furnishings. The waitress was helpful and sweet. We were a table of 10, seated fairly quickly even though the place was packed. They even brought out s'mores for the birthday girl to be cooked right at our table. Loved it, will be back!

We've been several times of the years, and it is always very, good.
But, you'll pay for it.
Dinner for two with a bottle of wine, 1 appetizer, 1 dessert, was $135+.
We go about once a year...I wish it was a little less expensive so we could go more!

We always visit this place once or twice when we are down on vacation. Usually have a special. But had the coconut shrimp (excellent) and the crab cakes. The crabcakes were disappointing. But the salad and shrimp were great. My husband had the meatloaf and said it was very good. My husband is allergic to seafood, so more choices not seafood would be great. Our friends had the jerk chicken she said was good and a seafood platter he said was good. The bar always had great service.

We ate dinner there last night. The for was great but was a little pricey. The atmosphere was nice and the service was fantastic. The fried pork chops were really good. I would recommend this place to anyone but be prepared to spend a little money.

Concept of the establishment, down to the waitress' names, was very unique. The seafood was excellent! Fried flounder was a generous portion, very lightly battered, flaky and had a wonderful flavor. Highly recommended!
