This is the best! Our special night go-to! We're planning a trip to Germany this summer, and went to get some beer tips. Our waiter spent a lot of time with us describing the German beers and making suggestions. German entrees are authentic and ginormous! Italian dishes are exquisite. Can't say enough about the restaurant.

This place is under the radar. Try the filet mignon. UNREAL! Melts in your mouth. The german food is also very good. The wait staff was very nice and attentive.

Had dinner here with the Family. It is a nice restaurant with German and Italian Cuisine, as well as other fare. Prices are good and the portions enormous. For the vino and beer drinkers, plenty of choices there too.

Although its address is Arden, this restaurant feels like it is on the far South side of Asheville, NC. It has seven dining rooms, including an elevated outdoor patio in front. It is quiet, with plenty of space, and the windows look out on mature trees. There is a very comprehensive wine and beer list. Draft beer comes in three glass sizes, and there is a good selection of German beers. Our dinner included dark and light bread, served warm with chive butter. The potato pancakes were thin and served rolled up. The German dishes are served with a good number and variety of sides. We chose sauerkraut, sweet red cabbage, spaetzle with gravy, and German potato salad. We got excellent food at a fair price, and will certainly return the next time we get to the Asheville area.
