Booked here because`we enjoyed it so much last year, we knew it was a basic hotel and you get what you pay for. Wanted two rooms side by side paid extra and didn't get them, rude Manager wasn't interested in helping even the Cosmos rep tried. We had one room on the first floor and the second room on the third floor on the opposite side. He`was interested in making money in every way. Turkish breakfast was ok but no water or juice we had to you guessed it pay extra for it. The staff were ok food was poor, the owner was overawed by the manager. Water kept running out but the manager wasn't interested told me i was lying. I am hooked on Turgetries but this hotel forget it i rather sleep on the beach it is better.
What a shame this hotel is ok for the Turkish only.

We have just returned from the Sky Sea Hotel and was very sad to leave. There were 27 of us in total, ranging from age 6 - 50+. We had a lovely time and the staff were so helpful to us all, especially the Beach Bar Man Hakan. The Rooms are quite basic but clean and themaids change the towels every day. Fresh instead of salt water would have been nice for a shower but it wasn't really a problem. The Balconys are small but liveable, and most have fabulous views out to sea. Breakfast is typical Turkish consisting of eggs cheese hams olives and cereals, with breads and melon to die for. The centre of Turgutreis is a walk of 10 - 15 mins away along the lovely coast and you get a lovely breeze as you go. Eating out in Turgutreis is fantastic with toooo many places to choose from. I can recommend Cool Breeze, Uncles, Lapikant, Cod Father, there are also many bars to sit and relax in, and The Sky Sea is also a lovely place to sit and chill and look out to sea at night.

Room Tip: If you like a sea view ask for an end room on the top floor. There are only 3 floors.

i stayed there with my girl friend and i know i a little turkish because i have been visiting turkey for many years and stayed too many hotels but this one was the worst hotel that i have ever seen in turkey.someone must do something for it. it has 3* stars and i couldnt understand how they got them.strange? 1. manager= i havent met a manager who doesnt know any other language he doesnt know english or other.and also he is so rude.i have a clue for yoou how u can make him kind; give him tip money he will ilke u and will do everything what u want!even he provides u any other women:D
2.cleaning it is really bad. before u go there, take ur cleaning tools and do it urself.
3.bar; count ur beers ur what u drink if you dont want to pay more
4. breakfast and dinners ; go other places for them there are lotsof good and cheap places
5.water in rooms and swimming pool;water comes from directly sea. i asked the waiters and they said it is not good for healt.they have red eyes because of the water.
6.boss and his wife; they are always there as a quardian.
before going there u have to think twice and decide for making ur holiday bad

Very small rooms , had booked a family room for myself, father and 4 yr old son, the room had 2 single beds and a cot!!! Which fell apart as we moved it.. Hotel said sorry we have no more rooms. And that's all they would do!! .. Breakfast .. Don't bother.. Evening meal.. Walk straight past and eat out! No drinks with any of meals not even water.. Pool is salt water. So is shower . Very basic hotel!! Think it's the last hotel left to bulldoze to make way for new one ... Turkey is lovely. Plenty of nice hotels, just not this one

Can't believe some of the reviews on this site for this hotel, we were a little worried when we read some of them. But we were realy pleased we went to this hotel, pefect location, sea view room and great staff. Yes the music was a little loud at times, but we found the trick was to ask them to turn it down, and they did easy!!! Could not complaine about the breakfast as there was plenty to choose from, we did have a couple of evening meals which were buffet style but plentyfull and varied, and for £6 well how cheap is that.
We allready planing to return sometime next year.

Room Tip: all the rooms are sea view

Stopped here alone for 7 days as I had business to attend to.

Very basic room, cleaning so, so. Fridge stank to high heaven so I didn't use it. It was unplugged so I tried opening the door to let air in - they closed it - OK!!

Breakfast is fine, no complaints - I tried ordering a meal one evening as I didn't want to walk into town, nothing to offer me except burgers etc.

I found no problem with the water in the bathroom, ie showering.

Loud music playing all day and evening, every day, there is no need for it.

In all for the price paid, it was OK and if they stopped this music I would return. Incidentally I had a seaview room and the view was marvellous.
