I really do not 'get' the review below dated 15th Sept from Leighknev.
This place is not a dump at all, it is very clean. Rooms are cleaned daily (VERY WELL), towels and bedding changed regular enough during our stay.
The staff are not rude, far from it. They are all so friendly and helpful. Omar and his young oppo Mustapha are laid back, helpful and very friendly. Between them and all of the the rest of the staff they cannot do enough to help the guests. It is because of this friendly and helpful attitude that we are so keen to return to the Hotel ourselves.
Our room was an average size, but was very clean. Shower toilet area good. Plenty of storage area.
We only have one complaint of this Hotel, that is that guests were allowed to leave towels on sunbeds overnight, therefore booking the sunbeds for their use and their use alone, ..sometimes not returning to the pool area until well late into the afternoon, if at all! This often took up 3/4 of the sunbeds. This was well annoying. I must add, this practice did deter some people actually using the pool and sunbeds, which meant they went to the beach and drank from the beach bars rather than the Hotel Bar. This a shame and maybe a lesson to be learnt for the Hotel?
Many of the other reviews are fair and accurate.
Breakfast is basic, an option of cereal or fruit would be nice. But..we are in Turkey, and every b+b in Turkey we have been to offer a similar breakfast.
We really enjoyed the Hotel, the Staff, the bar area is nice and roomy with a pool table and table tennis table on offer. No additional charges.
As for the pool, again, I heartily disagree with the negative comment below. We saw the pool and pool area being cleaned daily. We loved the pool area, and would have used it more had it not been for the towel situation.
The Hotel is ideally located for a walk out to the park and beaches, or into town for the harbour and centre.
Restaurants...I can highly recommend Sungars, just 20 yards from the Hotel. Just off the square Alins for an enjoyable meal, coffee/teas and excellent service. Mehmet is excellent as frontman and waiter, as as his co workers. Hassans and Friends also very reasonable and good quality food /service.
On the front, Uncles is a good spot. They have a beach area, free as long as you buy a drink, you know the score. Usual thing. But Fairhart as beach front man is excellent (entertaining and helpul), Kenny as restaurant/bar frontman likewise. Murat is also so friendly and helpful.
For a quieter drink..the Local Bar, off Bar Street, good prices and range of drinks, and English football
Believe me, we had a really enjoyable holiday and stay, and hope to see Fari, Omar, Mustapha and the other very nice friendly man at Reception again at Hotel Irme.

Just returned from two weeks B&B at the Irme Hotel and as expected it is a 2*. The rooms are basic, small with aircon and are kept very clean. The maids do a wonderful job. We did not spend much time around the pool as the sun beds where always taken very early so you really have to be an early bird. We preferred the beach and spent our time at the Lapikant area where you did not pay for the sun beds as long as you bought a few drinks, served on the beach by Zeeco. The hotel has 27 rooms, 24 have very small balconies and the others just windows no terrace. The room keys we kept with us as the reception tended to leave them on the counter for anyone to help them selves to, worrying thought for security. The breakfast was simply eggs, bread, cheese, jams, tea, coffee and juices. You could pay extra for more choice if you wanted. We don’t spend much time at the Hotel so this suited us fine as we were free to try a different restaurants every night and catch up with good friends.

Arrived at hotel to find that they had double booked our room and we was told we didn't have a room, eventually after 2 hours waiting they managed to sort us out a different room.to this we was very annoyed the rooms are very small the balconys are small ( that's if u get 1) they are not cleaned in our 2 weeks we were there they cleaned our room twice and only changed our sheets/ towels once (disgusting) the staff are very rude and unhelpful. The swimming pool is never cleaned i cut my feet open on the limescale on the tiles in the pool.if I was you I wouldn't touch this place with a barge pole. Worst hotel ever never ever go to this dump!!!!!!!!!!

there are not many B&B left in Turgutreis which is very dissapointing but this hotel was perfect for what we wanted. Small with a pool with a 15 minute walk to bar street, we were at the back of the hotel so it was quiet thru the night. only down side was the price of the drinks, they were a little expensive 25 lira for two shorts only 18 down bar street so the bar was not well used. Breakfast was ok could have had cereal on the table and mugs but had to ask every morning for them. We are thinking of going back next year as this is the only b&b we can book thru travel co's here, maybe on return staff might be a bit more friendly and accomodating AND even carry my suitcase up to the room.

first impressions were rooms too small, pool area a bit crowded but after 1st day it turned out to be a very nice hotel to stay in. Staff very friendly and helpful, bar food was excellent and quite reasonable but drinks a bit expensive. Breakfast very basic, but hotel location perfect. !0mins walk to resort centre and bazaar, small beach about 50 yards to ur left as u leave hotel, nice and qite there. would return and would recommend.

I have just got back i have been to many hotels around the world, its basic with no fridge no English T.V stations, bedding changed 3 times a week plus fresh towels every other day, Fari is a nice fella a bit OTT at times Its small clean and friendly its ok for a 2 star. Restaurants are a short walk away. Untold dogs and cats walking around in-which i found upsetting, outside shower is dated and dirty even for a 2 star.Pool was clean but small i would not return to this hotel, £25.00 per week for air con plus £10.00 for a safe per week , its a 2 star hotel and that's all it is, do not expect to much A big notice in the reception area stating NO FOOD OR DRINKS TO BE TAKEN INTO YOUR ROOMS. Bar area is small and the drinks are over priced, also food. All i can say is that you get what you pay for .
