Travelled here in October with my girlfriend and it was the week before the end of season! The hotel was quiet and the nicer rooms were all closed! It was mainly the rooms in the main building being used! Arrived in the small hours of the morning and were offered drinks and food!
The room was really nice, however not much of a balcony! Pool looked a bit rough, was freezing and there was about 20 sunbeds, so we used the beach which was nicer anyway! The sea is amazing, probably warmer than the pool, the fish can bite but it just feels like they have swum into you at a fast pace! No skin broken or anything!
First night there a couple told us not to eat the food there as we would end up ill. however we gave it a try and it was good, lots to try! The same people that told us not to eat the food had their plates piled high and went back for seconds! Typical moaners and if I'd have listened to them it would have ruined our holiday!
There is a bar between the hotel and beach which is nice, there is an English guy called Ian and he will tell you a good price to pay for souvenirs and such, supermarket at the top is good too!
The entertainment was a bit poor but we went into turgutries most nights anyway! It's nice, probably 10 minutes on the bus and it has some nice bars, just find an easy back to bus control as we walked the long way! The shops are great for good quality snides, bags and tops/ t shirts are good! Just take some English notes as sometimes cthulhu be cheaper. Try the market too, quite an experience!
the woman behind reception told me the hotel is a 3 star in Turkish terms, but British travel agents advertise it as a 4 or 5 star hotel! So dont blame the hotel. Nice resort all in all, i would go back for a cheap holiday at a similar time of year as i expect midsummer would be a nightmare!
Didn't receive much service at dinner but didn't really expect it as we just went to the bar in the restaurant ourselves at dinner! People said the grill outside the restaurant was worth a try but never really got chance!
Expect what you pay for! Go with an open mind and you won't be disappointed!
